French Operators are among the topmost operators of the world in terms of network coverage, cheap coverage cost, cost of network bandwidth for the laymen and also in terms of quality of service and assurance. Recently, french telecoms operators have approved applications to offer 3G services in the 900Mhz. 3G coverage is now relatively extensive in Metropolitan France: SFR reports covering over 70% of the population and Orange France should reach this degree of coverage by the end of 2008. thus, by today, this number would have reached a whooping figure in France. Operators in France thus combine well to provide top quality service.
